We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Finance Partner. The Finance Business Partner (GCB5), as part of the wider CMB Finance team, supports the Commercial Banking business to make informed, financially sound decisions. The role holder will support financial planning, performance reporting, and analysis activities, helping translate financial data into insights for business stakeholders. This part of the CMB Finance team focusses on the client segment returns, including utilising financial and non-financial data and key metrics to assess performance of segment returns, identifying opportunities to enhance returns including through re-investment / re-allocations, modelling investment cases, assessing forecasting outcomes, and playing key roles in the annual planning cycle. In this role you will: •Support Finance Business Partners in delivering financial reporting, planning & forecasting, and performance reporting. •Provision of commentary and storytelling on financial data / analysis to non-finance business partners. •Help explain financial trends, business drivers, and variances to support decision making. •Develop a strong understanding of Commercial Banking products, performance metrics, and key value levers •Work with colleagues in the Fin Ops team based in India that support the reporting and analysis landscape. •Provide analytical support to Finance Business Partners in discussions with stakeholders in Commercial Banking. •Build and maintain valuable relationships with stakeholders, collaboration and teamwork. To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: •Prior experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Analysis, or related roles. •Forecasting, financial modelling or creating business case experience. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret financial data and explain key drivers. •Clear communication skills, both written and verbal •Ability to work accurately to deadlines. •Excellent Stakeholder management ability.
