This role is central to expanding our client base, securing new projects, and building long-term partnerships with wind asset owners and operators across the UK. The primary focus of the role is lead generation and conversion, with particular emphasis on wind turbine inspection and retrofit campaigns, while also supporting opportunities across other renewable technologies. You will work closely with our technical and leadership teams to position Cirrus Wind Services as a trusted partner delivering high-quality, performance-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities: Drive the commercial development of Cirrus Wind Services, with a strong focus on wind turbine inspection and retrofit campaigns. Promote our expertise across the full asset lifecycle Contribute to the development and execution of a targeted sales strategy, working closely with inspection team leads and senior management. Actively prospect for new clients and generate qualified leads, while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers. Engage with clients to understand project requirements and asset-specific challenges, delivering tailored commercial and technical solutions. Lead and coordinate tender processes, including proposal preparation, commercial negotiations, and contract follow-up. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to identify new sales channels and competitive advantages. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Cirrus Wind Services’ expertise and differentiate our offering within the renewable energy sector. Maintain accurate sales reporting and pipeline updates to support forecasting and strategic decision-making. Represent Cirrus Wind Services at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand networks and generate new business opportunities. About you: 3+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the renewable energy sector, specialising in the wind industry Proven track record of generating leads, managing sales pipelines, and converting opportunities into secured projects. Experience selling technical or professional services (e.g., wind turbine inspections, retrofit campaigns, O&M services, engineering or consultancy solutions). Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at both technical and senior decision-maker levels Self-motivated, organised, and able to work autonomously, with willingness to travel within the UK Awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the renewable energy sector. Comfortable representing a business at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Experience leading or contributing to tender processes, including proposal preparation, commercial negotiations, and contract follow-up. Ability to translate technical capabilities and inspection outcomes into clear commercial value for clients Experience collaborating with technical, inspection, marketing, and senior management teams to deliver commercial strategies Willingness to travel across the UK Why Join Cirrus?
