Business Development Executive Department: Marketing Employment Type: Full Time Location: Winchester Description We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial graduate to join our growing Business Development function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is eager to play a key role in helping convert high-potential leads into long-term clients. You will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, engaging with prospects, initiating conversations and booking meetings, and supporting the wider team in building a scalable and structured business development process. Key Responsibilities Identify and prioritise high-quality prospective clients by leveraging a range of data sources – including LinkedIn, news articles, awards, and professional networks. Proactively contact and follow up with prospective clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn to secure introductory meetings with our investment managers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in our CRM system to ensure visibility and accountability across the pipeline. Collaborate closely with investment managers to gather feedback on lead quality and progression, and help ensure timely follow-up actions are taken. Support the development of structured outreach campaigns around key themes (e.g. wealth planning, business exits, intergenerational wealth). Contribute to the ongoing refinement of our lead generation strategy by identifying new sources of prospects (e.g. LinkedIn, news articles, awards, charity and trustee networks). Skills, Knowledge and Expertise A recent graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in private wealth management or financial services. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of outcomes. Strong communication skills – confident, articulate, and persuasive over the phone and in writing. Resilience and persistence – comfortable with rejection and motivated by long-term goals. A collaborative team player who understands the value of collective success over individual wins. Ideally, some exposure to consulting, sales, or client-facing roles (internships or otherwise) is a plus.
