The job: As part of our continuing growth, we are seeking to recruit a Business Analyst to work in our client success department. You’ll be working on either implementing shiny new clients or helping existing clients with their projects and changes (or both). Implementations are the first chance our business gets to work closely with new clients. This is where we’re installing and configuring our system to meet our client’s needs. We’re focused on building successful and lasting relationships with our clients because we make each other successful in the long run. Here's what you'll be doing: · Working with clients and the business to document requirements and identify solutions · Using clear and appropriate language that allows clients and internal stakeholders to understand what is being asked and what is needed to be done. · Helping clients and the business to identify business improvements, assess the feasibility of change and communicate the benefits. · Support the business and clients to recognise where risks to delivery lie or dependencies that could have significant impact on delivery · Translating business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements · Producing documentation such as specifications, dependency mappings, and process flows · Using data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes · Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce your recommendations Key skills and experience: Experience of working as a technical Business Analyst in a pensions, financial services or IT environment. Great communication with all stakeholders Sound technical knowledge. Experience of requirements gathering to support the configuration and development of software, ideally pensions or other financial services related systems and web. High degree of numeracy. Excellent team worker with good time management and work planning abilities. Be self-motivated and capable of working independently. You’ll need to sweat the detail on data analysis and documentation (including. architectural / design documentation) Be hard working and willing to go the extra mile when needed. Be apt at problem solving and breaking down a requirement.
