Summary of Position Responsibilities:

KAEKO is seeking a BIM Modeler Lead - MEP. The BIM Modeler Lead is responsible for leading project teams on successfully executing and delivering their assigned design scopes of work. A BIM Modeler Lead will oversee their project team’s performance, quality, and customer satisfaction while staying actively involved in production. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing their project team’s statuses, deliverables, and critical milestones.
• Supporting Project Managers, Site Managers, and Engineers as a consult.
• Reviewing revisions to project packages.
• Reviewing as built and redline markups.
• Participating in meetings with customers and owners.
• Working closely with Project Managers in preparing estimates and bids. 
• Overseeing and executing drawing packages and record sets.
• Overseeing and executing adherence to proper graphic standards, procedures, and building codes.
• Coordinating approved design changes with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Leading and showing project teams how to operate the most efficient workflows.
• Staying mindful of project budgets. 
• Conducting progress and design review meetings with appropriate stakeholders.
• Quality checking and quality assuring project deliverables.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, MEP Fabrication, Revizto, and Microsoft Office.
• Easily adaptable to learning and using new software and technology.
• Possesses expert knowledge of design standards, principles, and practices.
• Ability to perform multiple, detailed-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
• Ability to take direction.
• Possesses proficient writing and organizational skills.
• Upholds a strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty.
• Team player with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Proficiently using TEAMS for meetings and general communication with clients.
• Understanding the importance of excellent, customer service, and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and clearly communicate information within construction documents.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
