The role Do you love the challenge of turning complex opportunities into winning bids? Are you ready to take ownership of high-value proposals and collaborate with teams across the business to make a real impact? We’re looking for a Bid Manager to join our UK Bid Management Team. This role will focus mainly on public sector RFPs, but there will also be opportunities from corporate clients. Typical deal values are between £100k and £500k per year, with some outside of this range. You’ll be responsible for managing opportunities from qualification through to submission and handling any follow-up questions. The role involves working closely with people across the global business - including sales, technical, legal, and finance teams - to produce high-quality, compliant bids. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of each opportunity from qualification to post-submission stage. Develop and manage bid plans, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate input from multiple teams and ensure everyone meets deadlines. Write, edit, and tailor content to meet customer needs and showcase our value. Ensure proposals are compliant, well-structured, and persuasive. Facilitate review sessions and apply feedback effectively. Manage customer clarification questions after submission. Capture lessons learned and proactively contribute to improving bid processes and content. What we need to see from you Experience managing bids or proposals, ideally in IT, software, or cloud services. Good understanding of public sector procurement and RFP processes. Strong project management and coordination skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail. Confident working with a range of stakeholders across different functions and regions. Able to work independently and handle multiple bids at the same time. Skilled in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with Sharepoint, PowerAutomate & PowerApps is a plus. Nice to Have: APMP or similar bid management qualification. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Familiarity with public sector frameworks and e-tendering portals.
