Spire Thames Valley Hospital is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our Bank team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled clinical team, delivering outstanding patient care in a modern, well-equipped hospital. About the Role As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical teams across multiple departments, including Outpatients (OPD), Pre-Operative Assessment (POA), Pathology, and Ward. You will help ensure patients receive a smooth and efficient experience throughout their journey with us. Duties and Responsibilities Provide exemplary patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and clinicians Support and monitor patients during their time in clinic Recognise and report any changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate healthcare professional Assist with the safe movement and handling of patients in accordance with hospital policies Who We’re Looking For Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant (or equivalent) in a hospital or clinical setting is essential Strong communication and interpersonal skills NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable Competency in ECGs, phlebotomy, blood pressure monitoring, and patient observations is required Working Hours: Shifts include - Early 07:00 – 13:30, Late 13:00 – 19:30, Long day 07:00 – 19:30, Nights 19:00 – 07:20 Contract Type: Bank (flexible working) Bank Colleague Benefits Competitive hourly rates, paid weekly Flexible shifts to suit your availability Free DBS check and uniform Free on-site parking Access to Blue Light Card discounts Our Values At Spire Healthcare, we are proud of our heritage and the values that guide everything we do: Driving clinical excellence Doing the right thing Caring is our passion Keeping it simple Delivering on our promises Succeeding and celebrating together Closing date: In order to streamline our recruitment process, we reserve the right to expire vacancies prior to the advertised closing date once we have received a sufficient number of applications.
