We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Delivery Manager (12-month secondment) . Associate Delivery Managers lead change initiation, design and delivery and are accountable for successful delivery of both Technology and Business change programmes whilst ensuring benefits are realised. They engage and influence a wide spectrum of stakeholders and partners across HSBC. The role holder will support change delivery proactively balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks. They will use, where applicable, Agile methodologies in line with the corresponding Change framework. They will assist business stakeholders with the decomposition of complex business requirements into Epics and User Stories that can be delivered by Technology teams via respective backlogs. They will support the definition of change delivery plans including resources and responsibilities and establish effective change controls and procedures that appropriately manage and mitigate risks. They may support Delivery Leads and Delivery Managers across all stages of the initiative lifecycle to deliver larger or more complex changes. In this role you will: Manage change workstreams within value streams Identify and manage business risks managing approvals through the appropriate forum Support change delivery at a project/initiative level by coordinating change & implementation activities across multiple workstreams Ensure change impacts are understood and work collaboratively with all impacted areas to maximise adoption while minimizing disruption to customers and colleagues and ensuring deployment risks are mitigated Works across their team to support experimentation of new ideas and skills, putting into practice lessons learned To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into audience friendly formats A proven track record of working collaboratively across a wide range of stakeholders to achieve common goals Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills The ability to plan change activities and identify risks, escalating when necessary This is a full time, hybrid role based in either Sheffield, Birmingham, Leeds or Chester.
