The Research Ethics Associate is a highly qualified person responsible for protecting the SHA, its clinicians, staff, and people they serve from engaging in unethical, poor quality, and/or high risk research that will result in minimal or no value. The Research Ethics Associate plays a critical role in helping the SHA achieve its Academic mission by undertaking the review, approval, and ongoing monitoring of minimal risk research undertaken within the SHA. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience One (1) year experience performing research Education Master of Health Science (MHSc) Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable Competencies Computer skills Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example Capability to transform systems: Encourage and support innovation Demonstrated ability to apply research to design, manage & coordinate.
