Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200C, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.   Air Inuit's Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to the company's essential mission of providing safe, timely and high-quality air service to the people living and doing business in the enchanting region of Northern Quebec.   ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Wash, cut, and carry out basic preparations of food;   * Storing food;  * Store and store cleaning and packaging products;  * Deliver meals between the employee residence and the airport;   * Clean and store dishes;  * Wash and store pots and kitchen equipment;  * Clean food preparation surfaces and storage areas;  * Sweep and wash floors;   * Remove garbage and garbage and empty garbage cans;  * Perform any other tasks necessary and required by the company.    QUALIFICATIONS * Functional bilingual French/English, Inuktituk an asset;  * Ability to assist in the preparation of various meals for 20 to 55 people;  * Be punctual, autonomous, organized and reliable;  * The candidate is willing to work on an atypical schedule;  * Able to accept and adapt to the unexpected;  * Good interpersonal skills;  * The candidate will be considered as having no specific base and will travel through Nunavik;  * Be able to lift occasional heavy loads (maximum 50 pounds);  * Holder of a valid driver's license.     CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT This is a temporary assignment - to cover an extended sick leave.   REMUNERATION Compensation and benefits are determined according to corporate policy.   CANDIDACY    If you’re excited about contributing to the aviation industry and have the skills we’re looking for, we want to hear from you!
