Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our busy finance team. The successful candidate will take primary responsibility for managing debtors while maintaining an understanding of all departmental processes and contributing to ongoing efficiency improvements across the business. In addition, you will take full ownership of the financial operations for one of our small sister companies. This includes preparing quarterly management accounts, completing VAT and CIS returns, and working closely with colleagues and suppliers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Qualifications: AAT Level 4 preferred Experience: VAT and CIS experience advantageous but not essential This is a fast-paced role that requires strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and confidence working under pressure. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, collaborative, and ready to take initiative.
