Role Overview

We are looking for an Expert Analyst Developer with strong experience in VBA and Microsoft Access to join a Proximity Applications team within a large international IT organization.

This role is focused on the design, development, maintenance, and evolution of office automation and proximity applications, directly supporting business lines and functional teams. You will work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, dealing with sensitive and high-impact topics, including IT risk remediation and Shadow IT reduction.

Key Responsibilities

·         Analyze business needs and conduct feasibility studies prior to development initiatives

·         Design application solutions aligned with global IT architecture, standards, and norms

·         Estimate workload and validate development effort and timelines

·         Develop and deliver solutions meeting quality, cost, performance, and deadline expectations

·         Perform technical, functional, and non-regression testing

·         Provide technical support to teams regarding application behavior, constraints, and evolution possibilities

·         Ensure continuous skills development within your scope (new projects, perimeter extensions)

·         Propose technical and practical improvements to existing solutions

·         Actively contribute to IT risk remediation, especially related to Shadow IT initiatives

Mandatory Technical Skills

·         Microsoft Access (forms creation, maintenance, and optimization) – Senior level

·         VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) – macros creation and feature development within MS Office – Senior level

·         Technical and functional analysis & design – Intermediate to Expert

·         SQL (Query Language) – Intermediate to Senior

·         MS SQL Server (DBMS) – Beginner to Intermediate

·         Strong ability to analyze and synthesize information

·         Ability to facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings

Nice to Have

·         PHP / MySQL

·         Functional specifications documentation

·         Power Apps

·         Power BI

Education

·         Degree in IT Development or related field (Bachelor +2 / +5)

Languages

·         French – Upper Intermediate to Advanced (B2/C1) – Mandatory
