Lacombe Agro Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you! We’re currently looking for a temporary Agro Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. Position: Agro Equipment Operator Term: This is a temporary contract for approximately 9 months Casual: Less than 24 hours per week Availability: Weekdays Responsibilities: Operate equipment such as Floaters, Sprayers, and Loaders safely and efficiently Provide outstanding customer service Process accurate paperwork in a timely manner, also maintain and protect the assets of Central Alberta Co-op Be familiar with and adhere to Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures Be familiar with and adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures Ensure that all equipment is operated in a safe and responsible manner and constantly be alert for unauthorized removal of merchandise Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and supervisors Prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of products and services Report incidents and concerns to the supervisor promptly Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications: High School diploma is preferred Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire Class 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement is preferred Wheel loader and Floater operator experience is an asset Experience in customer service is preferred Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs Knowledge of Central Alberta and surrounding area to successfully navigate is an asset Experience with Viper GPS systems is an asset Applicators licence required for Sprayer operator Working knowledge of Ag.
