This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Agile Delivery Lead in the United States.
In this role, you will guide distributed, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, WordPress-based projects for enterprise clients. Acting as both a delivery expert and a team facilitator, you’ll ensure agile processes are efficient, transparent, and continuously improving. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and commercial teams to align delivery with business goals, manage risks, and foster a culture of trust and accountability. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates based in the Americas region with EST time zone coverage.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and coach agile project squads, applying Scrum principles to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
- Define and refine project scopes, estimates, and resource needs while managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and retrospectives to promote continuous improvement and alignment with client objectives.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, remove delivery impediments, and ensure transparency across teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain a commercial awareness of project budgets, reporting progress and financial status accurately to the business.
- Build strong client relationships, understanding their business priorities and aligning the team’s work to their goals.
- Encourage data-driven decision-making through metrics, feedback loops, and continuous performance reviews.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or similar role in a dynamic, multi-project environment.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and broader Agile principles, with the ability to apply them pragmatically in enterprise contexts.
- Skilled in servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and negotiation to drive team cohesion and delivery success.
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence) and familiarity with budget/time tracking systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as WordPress, PHP, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and version control systems.
- Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities.
