Agent - Nightshift Manager

Costain is the Major Programme Partner (MPP) and the Asset Renewal Partner (ARP) for Terminals 1 and 2, two of six major programmes of work that Heathrow has committed to deliver within the H7 quinquennium. Within the MPP framework, Costain is the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer for the T2 Baggage Programme (T2BP), which is a £700m+ complex baggage and infrastructure programme. This consists of principally two elements: extending the life of, protecting and providing alternative facilities for the existing Terminal 2 baggage operation currently run from Terminal 1; and designing, constructing, testing and bringing into use a new Terminal 2A baggage system. You will be working as the Tranche 5 Nightshift Manager responsible for all construction operations undertaken at night on T2BP programme. Your role will be to lead, plan, liaise, organise and oversee all deliveries, installation activities, testing, commissioning, integration, transition, and hand over/hand back for the works beimg undertaken at night. The role involves working closely with our Alliance Partners (Beumer, Fujitsu, AviBC) and all elements of the Heathrow Client team, Operations, 3rd parties, and other Tier 1 suppliers, embracing the 'one team' approach and aligning ourselves with their values and behaviours. You will be accountable for the safe delivery of all elements of scope undertaken at night, ensuring these are delivered within the agreed schedule and budget: Responsibility for the overall nightshift construction delivery of the Civils, Structural, Architectural elements and MEPh systems, and oversight of the Alliance Partners works installing the Baggage and Communication Systems across Terminal 2 Basement (level A0), Apron (level 00, 05) and Levels 10, 20, 25, 30 (including Balcony) plus Starlight Point (SLP) Compound and other DMZ areas. This includes but not limited to: Deliveries from CLC and DMZ’s to work faces for dayshift. Undertaking surveys Life Safety System (LSS) changes/modifications/isolations to enable nighsift works M&E temporary systems and new installation works Temporary Services lift and shift modifications Structural steel erection Fire Stopping and Fire protective Coatings Architectural fit out including drylining modifications and new installations Scaffolding, coring, drilling Coordination of Alliance Partners Beumer, Fujitsu and AviBC works Airside and Apron roadway Traffic Management
