AFTERNOON CLEANER

Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of a school facility under our management. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities: Clean and sanitise assigned areas, including restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common spaces. Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment thoroughly and regularly. Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate techniques and equipment. Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal and segregation. Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essential items as needed. Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly. Adhere strictly to safety procedures, health regulations, and cleaning protocols. Maintain a professional, respectful, and courteous attitude at all times. Requirements Requirements: Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects. Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough, high-quality work. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Effective communication skills and a collaborative team mindset. Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during term time. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices is advantageous.
