As an Adult and Community Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high quality teaching, instruction, and assessment to learners of all levels. You will prepare and deliver course materials designed to inspire and motivate students, encourage independent learning, and ensure that all learners have a safe, supportive, and inclusive educational experience. Key Responsibilities To deliver high quality community courses, particularly cooking courses to adults, adults and children and those with additional needs, in schools and community venues across Hampshire. Tutoring groups of adults / adults and children at all levels, using a variety of relevant methods and approaches to enable and support learning across the range of community courses offered, including cooking. Undertaking the completion of class registers and other administrative tasks, ensuring absences and lateness are accounted for and taking appropriate action where they are not, in accordance with the procedures in the staff handbook. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise You will need these important qualities: Tutoring and cooking experience Personable and engaging Organised and self-reliant Enthusiastic and professional Driven and ambitious Level 3 Certificate in Education (PTLLS) Proven experience in planning and delivering effective teaching and learning programs that meet the needs of adult learners.
