Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated a part-time Accountant to join our team and contribute to our dynamic real estate operations. This position will be 15-20 hours a week. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: -Assist with general accounting functions and daily financial activities. -Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records. -Manage accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately. -Support property tax and mortgage-related accounting functions. REQUIREMENTS: -Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience within the real estate industry. -Knowledge of lease accounting standards (ASC 842) and property tax procedures. -Proficiency in Excel and other relevant accounting software. -Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent communication skills.
