Ensure the smooth running of the coach park to allow our prebooked trade customers access to parking onsite. Liaise with colleagues onsite and HES teams to take forward our online booking system. Ensure the smooth running of the allocated coach bays for commercial operator Jacobite Cruises. Manage the daily expectations of the day trip operators. Work with the Car Park Supervisor to develop a flexible approach to maximising visitor parking on site. Ensure all designated parts of the car/coach parks, grounds, visitor centre and toilets to the standard as outlined in checklist for the site. Liaise with Car Park Supervisor to report maintenance, faults/problems on site, informing management as required. Work with other teams and stakeholders within the Castle to provide a seamless cohesive operation. Pro-active interaction with visitors to the site, assessing their individual needs and answering enquiries both in person and by telephone. Promotion of all Historic Scotland sites, including events and other activities. Ensure a high standard of presentation throughout the site, following appropriate cleaning processes in both public and staff areas. Support the team in achievement of quality assurance Key Performance Indicators. Provide the warmest welcome to our visitors and engage proactively with customer service. Teamwork Proactively communicate with colleagues across the site to ensure high performance, standards and consistency. Support the Managers on partnership and community engagement initiatives and projects, possibly including volunteering, weddings and other events. Commercial Awareness Work with your monument team to achieve overall commercial performance targets. Promote commercial opportunities within the monument, such as coming events and retail products where appropriate. Assist Commercial Manager to ensure accurate stock management and assist with stock and deliveries as required. Ensuring that all administration is completed accurately and timeously, including absence reports, annual leave requests and training. Health and Safety & Compliance Ensure the security of the site, buildings and contents. Monitor and comply with all H&S procedures/guidance relevant to the site, including fire duties. Follow correct procedures to ensure safe operation of all equipment. Ensure that the health and safety of staff, visitors and contractors is paramount at all times.
